HostingNomad operates entirely by commission, so clients don't actually pay us anything directly. By entrusting management of your home to us, we actually pay you the majority of the holiday rental revenue it generates. We charge a basic 20% commission, with the following details:
20%:
This is how HostingNomad makes its living. It's obviously in our interest to make you as much money as possible through effective management of your home through the AirBnB platform, because we only earn money when you you do.
Note that AirBnB also charges a 3% Host Fee commission, so our clients can expect to receive 77% of the rental revenue we generate on their behalf.
HostingNomad's minimum commission per Guest Visit is $40.
Cleaning fees:
Depending on the home, a reasonable cleaning fee will be established to reflect the effort required to bring it back to its Guest-ready sparkle after each Guest Visit. These cleaning fees are charged through AirBnB independently of the rental rate, and are paid directly to the person who does the actual cleaning.
One-time $50 account setup fee:
We invest a lot of time and effort to initially set your home up to rent out through AirBnB, and this $50 is a token fee to we ask of our clients to acknowledge these efforts. This one-time charge is taken out of your first rental revenues rather than charged up-front.
Consumables:
This essentially refers to the replacement costs for consumables in your home, such as soaps, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. We make no money from these, so any deductions from your rental revenues will reflect the actual cost of the supplies we place in your home.
Incidentals:
We inspect your home for wear and tear between each Guest Visit, and we strive to return it to its Guest-ready sparkle before the next Guest Visit. If we find that something needs to be replaced or repaired, we will take care of it and deduct these costs from your rental revenue payout. We'll let you know of any such incidentals, and we'll aim to get your permission beforehand for any interventions exceeding $50.
